Can Retired Dod Civilians Access Mrw Dining Facilities
Eligible Patrons include active duty service members, Department of Defense civilian employees, retirees, and members of the National Guard or Reserve (18 years or older). Family members of the above groups, 18 years or older, with a military/Government ID card are also eligible. Many MWR facilities and services are also available to U.S. Government Contractors. Always check with the staff at your local MWR facility or office to check eligibility.
Eligibility Statements
Bowling Center & Patio Cafe
Department of Defense personnel, active duty military, retirees, their spouses and children who reside with them and are under 23 years of age, are eligible to attend or participate in Morale, Welfare Recreation activities and events. Appropriate military or CAC identification cards are required.
Child & Youth Program (CYP)
Eligible CYP patrons include:
- Active duty military personnel.
- DOD civilian personnel paid from both APF and NAF.
- Reservists on active duty or inactive duty personnel training.
- DOD contractors employed at Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna or tenant activities on site.
Family Advocacy Program (FAP)
Department of Defense personnel, active duty military, retirees and their family members (spouse and children under the age of 23) may use this service. Appropriate military identification cards are required.

Active Military Members Only – permitted one guest per visit.
Age Requirements: AR 215-1
- As a family member, children and youth (15 years old and under), must be actively participating in the SAME ACTIVITY and under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.
- Children 12 years old and under may not use mechanical cardiovascular equipment, or strength, sauna, or steam rooms areas at any time.
Family Housing
Family Housing provides permanent housing for military members and their dependents assigned to Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna and military activities within a one-hour commute.
Relocation Readiness
Department of Defense personnel, active duty military, retirees, and their family members (Spouse and children under the age of 23) are eligible. Appropriate Department of Defense identification cards are required.
Riverview Golf Course
The Riverview Golf Club is open to military and federal government employee communities, honorably discharged veterans and the general public. We thank all from the military communities for your service to our great country and welcome you to Riverview.
Due to the secured nature of the installation, prior arrangements must be made in order for all non-government ID/CAC cardholders (including veterans, and all guests), to access the golf course.
Susquehanna Club
The Susquehanna Club is open to military and federal government employee communities, honorably discharged veterans and the general public. Due to the secured nature of the installation, prior arrangements must be made in order for all non-government ID/CAC cardholders (including veterans, and all guests) to gain access to the installation.
Swimming Pool
Active Duty Military, National Guard/Reserve, Department of Defense personnel, military and DoD civilian retirees, civilian DoD employees, their spouse and children who reside with them and are under 23 years of age. 100% Disabled Vets are also eligible. Appropriate military identification cards or CAC cards are required.
